Welcome to India Rural Community Projects Initiative (IRCPI) Website. We are a non-governmental group of professionals interested in promoting technology oriented projects with a focus on rural healthcare, renewable energy, sustainable environment and community education.

Rural communities are the lifeblood of the world, especially in India. The ancient 'Thirukkural", a venerable Tamil literature/philosophical masterpiece places rain and its impact on the agrarian/rural lifestyle right next to its divine invocation itself! - "Even as the world turns, it runs behind the plough of the farmer for without food, all other human activity will cease". Considering that all major cities are dependent for life-support (food, labor etc) from the surrounding communities, it is essential we pay attention to rural development and sustenance.
